Research summary
My main research interest lies in the field of developmental psychology, with an emphasis on language and literacy development and second language and foreign language learning . My research has involved a range of approaches including behavioural genetics, cognitive and linguistic theories and experimental, longitudinal and intervention designs.
Biography
I gained my DPhil in Experimental Psychology from the University of Oxford. Immediately after the completion of my doctoral training,I joined City University of Hong Kong as an Assistant Professor, and was later promoted to Associate Professor. I am an Associate Professor in Language and Cognition at UCL.
