PALS wins UCL's Greenest Department Award
6 September 2017
PALS is delighted to announce that once again we have been recognised as UCL’s greenest department at yesterday’s Green Impact awards ceremony.
PALS was also afforded the title of ‘UCL Sustainability Leaders’ in recognition of our excellent work.
PALS was responsible for six of the ten excellence projects across UCL, and all our projects received a very high rating. In addition, PALS received an Excellence rating in the Office category where we were the most successful department. We also received a Platinum rating in the Labs category. We have also advised other UCL departments about their sustainability activities.
It’s the fourth year PALS has been UCL’s greenest department and it’s an outstanding achievement. As a special prize for our sustainability activities, we’ve been awarded a guided tour of the Eden Project. This is testament to the excellent work undertaken by all in the Green Impact Team and also those in the Division who have taken part in our green impact activities and supported us. In fact, such was our success that there was talk of a ‘Beat PALS’ category for next year’s Green Impact Programme!
