Interventions to improve cognitive abilities: Background, Results, and challenges
Increased focus on societal impact from research have led to that intervention studies are flourishing perhaps more than ever before. Here I will discuss the theoretical foundation of different cognitive and language interventions, and show results from different lines of research. What are the promising and not so promising pathways for future studies? What challenges needs to be addressed in future studies for interventions to give important contributions to children's development?
