Have you got the write skills for UCL's Festival of Culture 2016?

21 April 2016

UCL's Festival of Culture 2016 (formerly the Festival of the Arts) will take place from 23-27 May, with a range of over 80 free events inspired by UCL's world-leading research across the arts, humanities and social sciences.

Have you got the write skills for UCL’s Festival of Culture 2016?

UCL students are encouraged to get directly involved in the festival by writing about the fascinating range of topics that will be covered during the festival. With events ranging from 'Star Wars in the Classroom' and 'The Ethics of Fighting ISIS' to 'The Politics of Laziness' and 'Rethinking the Teen Movie' there is a rich mix of interesting topics to choose from.

Festival organisers are keen for budding journalists in the UCL student community to write a 400-word blog on their preferred event and/or more generally about their experience at the festival. Students will be given a £10 Amazon voucher for their contribution and their blog will be featured on the festival website.

For more information about what's happening and how you can get involved, please contact festival organiser Catherine Thomson.
