12 February 2015

Are you interested in health research? Do you want to be a part of a study which has the potential to increase our understanding of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)? We are looking for people diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), in addition to control participants without a diagnosis.

We would like to invite you to take part in this research study.

To take part in this study, or to find out more information, please email sarah.thum-bonanno.09@ucl.ac.uk

All participants will be paid £8 cash for taking part.

What will happen?

The study will involve coming to our office at the UCL School of Pharmacy. You will be asked to take part in some computer-based tasks and some online health questionnaires. The whole session will last approximately one hour.

Although there are no direct benefits to you taking part in this project, you will be helping to improve the knowledge of irritable bowel syndrome.

To take part in this study, or to find out more information, please email sarah.thum-bonanno.09@ucl.ac.uk

You will then be emailed a web link to a doodle poll for you to sign up for a convenient time.

The study has been approved by UCL research ethics committee, project ID Number: 4718/003. All data will be collected and stored in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
