France, Austria and Brazil are ranked, perhaps surprisingly, as the top three countries making progress in decarbonising the built environment, according to a report by the UCL Environment Institute. Professor Yvonne Rydin (UCL Bartlett School of Planning and co-director of the Environment Institute) discusses the innovative research report - ZC2 - which provides a new perspective on the performance of different countries in relation to the climate change and carbon mitigation policy.
