Former CNIE Research Fellow, now Associate Professor at Hainan University (CN)

Office: Roberts Building

Email: Yanan.liu@ucl.ac.uk

Research

Yanan obtained her PhD in Chemical Engineering and Technology, Professor Zhongyi Jiang's group, at Tianjin University (Tianjin, China) on bioinspired membranes and membrane processes for water treatment. She fabricated high performance membrane with high flux and excellent antifouling properties.

She joined the Centre for Nature Inspired Engineering from July, 2019. Her projects focus on functionalized membrane materials with high selectivity, high permeability and excellent anti-fouling for bio-separation and water purification.

Education

PhD Chemical Engineering and Technology, Tianjin University (CN), (2013-2019)

BSc Chemical Engineering and Technology (Fine Chemicals), Dalian University of Technology (CN), (2009-2013)
