Research area: Catalyst for CO2 reduction
My master’s research involves the synthesis of biochar-based composites, and its application in wastewater treatment for the adsorption of aqueous contaminants, as well as mechanism analysis based on physicochemical characterization. I have been trained in the whole research process of adsorbent synthesis and optimization through grand size and mixed matrix development, with batch experiments to assess the comprehensive sorption performance. The composite shows potential benefit of phosphate recovery from urine as substitute fertilizer with controllable and slow-releasing performance. My present research would relate to novel design of supermolecular composites for CO2 catalytic reduction, so as to generate high value-added C2 products.
