Research
Renato performed an international industrial PhD between Institute of Chemical Technology (ITQ) Polytechnic University of Valencia, UPV-CSIC, (Valencia, Spain) and Haldor Topsoe A/S, (Lyngby, Denmark) which he defended in 2020. His PhD thesis focused on the design, synthesis and characterization of small-pore zeolites for industrial environmental applications. He then worked for more than 2 years at Engie Fabricom (Antwerp, Belgium) as a project engineer, contributing to the low-carbon energy transition.
He joined the Centre for Nature Inspired Engineering in November 2021 working on Ecosystems, Networks and Modularity.
