I have lots of good news to share this week.

1. We have three winners of MAPS Faculty Education Awards:
   Beatriz Navarro Lameda (Individual Excellence)
   Antonio D'Alfonso Del Sordo (Individual Excellence)
   Eimear Hurley (Highly Commended)
2. Jagdeep Donsanjh is runner-up for a BEAMS Professional Services Award (in the category "Giving our students the best support, facilities and opportunities").

3. Sonya Crowe and Christina Pagel (along with colleagues from Imperial and researchers in several hospitals) have been awarded £930K from NIHR for a study (‘OPTICAL’) that will build the evidence base for improving support for people transitioning from paediatric to adult intensive care.
