I am pleased to share the following good news:

• François Buet-Golfouse, a part-time PhD student, passed his on 5 December 2023 with minor corrections. The title of his thesis is: New Mathematical and Computational Methods for Machine Learning and Multi-Objective Reinforcement Learning. François works full-time at JPMorgan Chase as Head of Decision Science. He was supervised by Andrea Macrina. Well done!
• Jean-Marc Vanden-Broeck and Demetrios Papageorgiou (Imperial College) were awarded IMA QJMAM funding to support the Frank Smith Celebratory event.
