Department News, March 2022 Part 2

(1) I'm delighted to announce that we have appointed the next Heads of Pure and Applied Mathematics -- Yiannis Petridis and Jean-Marc Vanden-Broeck respectively.

(2) I was pleased to hear that Benjamin Aslan passed his viva last week. His thesis, titled "Special submanifolds in nearly Kähler 6-manifolds", was supervised by Jason Lotay.
