Department News, June 2022 Part 4

(1) Last week I announced two new appointees on the scheme "EPSRC RAs in the Mathematical Sciences". Today I can add a third: Jakob Stein will also stay on for an extra year after his PhD. This completes our appointments on this grant.

(2) Two colleagues - Philip Pearce and Ruth Reynolds - were awarded FHEA this week. Congratulations to both of them!

(3) Holly Brannelly passed her viva last Monday. Her thesis, titled "A New Class of Quantile Processes with Applications in Risk Analysis and Valuation", was supervised by Andrea Macrina and Gareth Peters. Congratulations Dr Brannelly!
