Department News, June 2022 Part 1

(1) Sarah Nowell passed her viva last week. Her thesis, entitled "Models of hyperelliptic curves over p-adic fields", was supervised by Vladimir Dokchitser. Congratulations Dr Nowell!

(2) Damian Gvirtz (currently on an EPSRC Doctoral Prize) has landed a permanent academic post at the University of Glasgow. Congratulations!
