Department News, December 2022 Part 1

(1) On Wednesday we held the "IMSS Showcase" event, jointly with Statistical Science, and all our IMSS Fellows told us about their research. It was a really entertaining afternoon learning about research in some widely different fields. 

(2) Edwina Yeo (currently at Oxford) has been awarded a National Fellowship in Fluid Dynamics (from EPSRC) to work here.

(3) Giordano Giambartolomei passed his viva on Wednesday. He was supervised by Nadia Sidorova.
