(1) Dr Luca Grieco has been appointed as a lecturer in CORU. Many people will already know Luca as he's a postdoc in CORU at the moment; he's filling the post vacated by Marco Javarone.

(2) Michele Giacomini passed his viva on 2nd February. Michele was an LSGNT student, supervised by Andrei.
