Department News, December 2019 Part 2

(1) Angelika Manhart and Dave Hewett have been awarded a small grant from the UCL Culture "Performing Place" scheme, to work with a local musician to investigate connections between their mathematical research and musical rhythms.

(2) Mattia Miglioranza successfully defended his thesis on Monday 16th December, supervised by Felix Schulze. Congratulations Dr Miglioranza!
