Congratulations Dr Seymenoglu and Dr Sutton!

  2. The Chalkdust team - Sean Jamshidi, Eleanor Doman, and Niki Kalaydzhieva, along with Luciano Rila, organised a fantastic event on Wednesday for Black Mathematicians Month. David Lammy (MP for Tottenham) and Nira Chamberlain (IMA Vice President and one of only 5 mathematicians in Who's Who) spoke to an audience of 13/14 year olds from around the Tottenham area, who then took part in workshops for the rest of the event. Initial feedback returned to Luciano was:

    ·        …Having tons of fun with the Maths challenge…

    ·        …an enjoyable day…..

    ·        …We met one of the top mathematician in this country…...

    ·        …Thank you for sending us there Sir….

    ·        …I want to do it again.....

Many, many thanks to all those who made this event such a success!
