- If you are a Mathematics Department student, you can see information on the Mathematics Welfare moodle page.
- If you are from a department outside Mathematics, please see information from your own department.
- Below are a few basic points that apply to students from within or outside the Mathematics department taking Mathematics modules:
- If you are given extra time for examinations on your SoRA, you do not need to take any action in relation to this regarding your formal examinations. This will be dealt with automatically by the Mathematics Department for departmentally-run exams, and centrally if you have centrally-run exams.
If you are given extensions to MATH* coursework on your SoRA, you should note the following. Coursework for Mathematics modules is normally made up of weekly or fortnightly problem sheets; these are normally expected to take no more than a few hours to complete. For this reason, the automatic extension available to students with a SoRA for Mathematics problem sheets and quizzes is 2 days (not one week). (If when you are ready to submit your coursework, you find the deadline has not yet been changed, please submit it late and let the department know via email (math.ugwelfare@ucl.ac.uk) so this can be sorted for you.)
