My PhD project focuses on the S-nitrosylation of the chromatin remodelling complex, NuRD during neuronal and cortical development. I am studying if the post translational modification of individual subunits by S-nitrosylation regulates NuRD subunit interactions, NuRD complex activity or targeting to chromatin.
