The data below is for this Nathaniel Weekes. The tie with 'Nathaniel P. Weekes' as the awardee has not yet been fully made.

In 1871 Nathaniel Weekes aged 61 Magistrate born Barbados was living at Guillards Oak Midhurst with his wife Elizabeth aged 38 born Flint; in 1881 the couple were at the same address, Nathaniel Weekes aged 72 Justice of the Peace and his wife as Hon[oura]ble, with her birthplace shown as Mostyn, North Wales. Will of Nathaniel Weekes late of Guillard's Oak Midhurst who died 16/11/1889 proved 19/12/1889, personal estate £74,656 6s 1d.

  2. The marriage of Nathaniel Weekes and Elizabeth Mostyn was registered at St Margaret's Westminster Q4 1868.

  3. Nathaniel Weekes of Mangrove Barbados and Guillards Oak was identified as formerly of the 9th Queens Royal Lancers in records of his daughter Amy's marriage.
