Biography

Heiress (and daughter) of Andrew Anderson and sister of her co-claimant Anna Elizabeth Anderson (q.v.). Their uncle, James Anderson of New City Chambers (q.v.) was also executor of their father's will and owned part of the mortgage on the Brewer's Bay estate (which he left to them in his will in 1823).

  2. Andrew Anderson of Tortola married H. Hetherington of the same island at Durham in 1799; Andrew Anderson is identified as of HM Council in Tortola in 'The Trial of Arthur Hodge'.
