Biography

Partner in Bond & Pearse (q.v.) West India merchants of Finsbury Place. Presumably son of the John Bond who was a partner in the predecessor firm of Ede & Bond. It has been inferred but not demonstrated that John Nelson Bond and John Bond the younger (who appears as a counterclaimant with Henry Pearse in one of the two awards for Amity Hall) are the same man.
