Biography

Slave-owner and physician, of Jamaica at the time of compensation but of Bristol when he made his will in 1851. Given as 'William Waller Brock' in Kingston No. 1447 and as 'William Warren Brock' in Kingston No. 1320, but identifiable in both cases as William Wallen Brock, Doctor of Physic, married to the niece of Rev. Thomas Rees (q.v.).

  1. Will of William Wallen Brock Doctor of Medicine of Clifton Gloucestershire proved 19/12/1851. He left his wife Ann Rees Brock an annuity of £400 p.a. over and above anything she was to receive under the will of her uncle.
