  1. 01/04/1830 Etienne Touzalin, proprietor in parish of Westmoreland native of Port-au-Prince St Domingue today resident in Kingston: 'banns being dispensed with due to the urgency of the situation', married Monique Leslie Cowan of Westmorland. The couple had 5 children already together, and Touzalin legitimised a further 6 by Amelia Vahorne by adoption.
