Ralph Benson

Biography

'Reputed' son of Moses Benson (q.v.) who left him £10,000 and his real estate in Shropshire and Liverpool, where Ralph Benson was himself a merchant for a period. MP for Stafford 1812-1818 and 1826-1830.
