Bristol slave-trader, later in partnership with George Gibbs and James Richards as West India merchants in the city.

  1. Will of Samuel Munckley merchant of Bristol proved 16/09/1801. He left monetary legacies of over £20,000 to kin and connections, notably the Duntze family in Devon (Sir John Duntze MP was his half-brother) and the family of his partner George Gibbs of Bristol.
