Widow of Robert McGhie (q.v.), a slave-owner of Jamaica, and sister of James Bruce of St Vincent (q.v.).

  1. Will of Elizabeth Pomeroy McGhie widow of Bath [made in 1825] proved 04/07/1826. She left personal effects to her sons, an annuity of £60 p.a. to her granddaughter Eliza McGhie, daughter of her deceased son Hugh Barnett McGhie, and her residuary estate among five children, James, Thomas, John Poulett, Willoughby and Janet Pomeroy McGhie. She appointed Gilbert Munro of St Vincent as executor, implying she had property there.
