Heir of her father William Tyssen, from whom she inherited an unnamed estate in Antigua shown by Vere Langford Oliver as 250 acres in St Paul's parish. Dame Sarah Tyrell and and Sir John Tyrell sold a 'piece of land in the parish of St Paul...called Buckshornes, and formerly cultivated as a sugar estate plantation, continuing 200 acres' 'and also three negros' in 1815 for £1500.
