Biography

Elizabeth Allen registered two enslaved people in Hanover in 1823 as natural guardian of her son and daughter Wm George Chambers and Mary Chambers.

William George Chambers, age 13, 'Mustee', and Mary Chambers, age 11, 'Mustee' were living in Lucea in the Hanover census of 1823, as was Joan Chambers, age 9, 'Mustee' and Elizabeth Allan, age 30, 'Quadroon'.

William, George [sic - mistranscribed as two people] and Mary Chambers, children of J. K. Chambers, were baptised in Hanover, Jamaica [date omitted but between entries for 1813 and 1814].
