London merchant, identified as his consignee in the will of John Dowse of Nevis proved in 1733. Under the will of Thomas Truman proved in 1769 the major beneficiaries were his nephews Richard Neave (q.v. under Sir Richard Neave 1st bart.) and James Neave (to each of whom he left monetary legacies of £15,000 as well as land in Britain). The will identified his partner as John Willett.
