Biography

In his will proved 05/09/1770, Duncan Grant [late of Red Lion Square but now] of Antigua ordered his property including plantations and live and dead stock [presumably including property in people] to be sold, with £4000 in trust for his daughter Elizabeth Baillie and £4000 in trust for his son William, the reminder to be split between his wife Lydia and daughter Mary Grant as residuary heirs. His daughter Mary Grant married Justinian Casamajor (q.v.).
