Henry Douglas

Biography

In the will of Henry Douglas planter of Antigua [made November 1752] proved 26/06/1753, Douglas identified his brothers as George Douglas of Friershaw Advocate and James Douglas of London merchant, and left his estate in Antigua to his daughter Mary, then the wife of Benjamin King. The estate was probably that known by 1787 as Douglas & Ravenscroft in Old Road Division, St Mary Parish.
