Biography

Son and co-heir of Abraham Chalwill Hill (q.v). He was in England in 1814 when his father made his will, and married there in 1824. The compensation for the enslaved people on the estate he co-owned with his sister was paid to two Lancaster merchants, presumably mortgagees.

  1. George Hill bachelor of St George in the Island of Tortola married Mary Still at St Mary Battersea 11/08/1824, when one of the witnesses was Ruth Ann Hill.
