Biography

Resident slave-owner in Jamaica. Son of David Dehany, brother of Philip and husband of Mary Dehany nee Gregory.

  1. Will of George Dehany of St John, Middlesex Island of Jamaica proved 09/12/1767. In the will he left his sugar works or plantation called Georgia in Hanover, which he had assigned to Mathew Gregory and William Wynter in 1758 for payment of his debts, to his children George, Lucretia Mary, Favell [sic] and Elizabeth Dehany.
