Son of George Harrison Cosens and his first wife Thomasin. Baptised 28/01/1808 at St Wilfrid's, North Muskham, Nottinghamshire. Bequeathed a one third share of Shrewsbury estate in Portland, Jamaica, on the death of his father in 1817. Not otherwise traced.

Jamaican-born widow of a prominent slave-owner; resident in Britain following the death of her husband in 1818. Accused - and acquitted - of the cruel treatment of some enslaved people whom she brought to Britain with her.
