Biography

Son of Baijer Otto Baijer (d. 1737) and Frances nee Oliver (later Murray), and father of Baijer Otto Baijer (d. 1839, q.v.).

  1. Will of John Otto Bayer of St Thomas the Apostle Devon proved 01/07/1791. He left his wife Sarah an annuity of £250 p.a. and £1000 each to his six daughters: Anne wife of Thomas Oke of Devon; Edith Otto Baijer; Fanny wife of William Cazell [given as Cazea in the will]; Mary Williams widow; Elizabeth Otto Baijer; and Barbara, wife of Robert Patch. Subject to the annuity and the monetary legacies, he left his estate to his only son Baijer Otto Baijer.
