Biography

Son of Sir Stephen Lushington (East India Co. Chairman, d. 1807) and with his father partner in Boldero, Lushington (which failed in 1812). Sir Henry Lushington left effects under £20,000 at his death in 1863.

  1. Lushington's wife Frances or Fanny Maria nee Lewis (q.v.), the sister of Matthew 'Monk' Lewis, inherited 'slave-property in Jamaica from her brother.
