  1. Will of Anne Jarrett of Camerton House Somerset [made in 1822] proved 23/08/1830. In the will she rehearsed her marriage settlement of 1801 and her husband's will dated 1809 so far as concerned the raising of £10,000 from the Camerton estates in Somerset that she brought to the marriage for her daughters Anne and Mary: Mary had since died, and Anne had received £5000 (and a further sum of £1666 13s 4d, one-third of the other £5000) on her marriage to Rev. William Gooch, so that Anne Jarrett [the testator] left a further £5000 in trust with £1000 to her son Stephen and a further £3333 6s 8d to Anne Gooch; in a codicil of 1830 she asked her son John to raise by £4000 the amount Stephen was to receive, and left £5000 to her grandson Herbert Wilson Gooch.
