Biography

  1. Will of Christopher Burrow of [Buxton house in the township of Hutton in the parish of] Warton Lancs. proved 09/03/1827. He left to each of his son and daughters £5000 at 21 and a further £5000 at 25. He left his moiety of the estate called Mount Prospect [and the people on it] to his son Christopher Thomas Burrow, subject to the unspecified payments to his wife under their marriage settlement and a further £200 p.a. currency to his god-daughter Elizabeth Gilaspie [sic] formerly Elizabeth Wildey of Jamaica.
