Biography

Son of George William Ricketts (1760-1842) (q.v.) and Laetitia Mildmay (1768-1839).

  1. Matriculated Christ Church College Oxford 17/10/1811 aged 19, where his father is given of Sutton, Hants; for his brother Edward Woodville, who matriculated Oriel 1826 aged 17, George William Ricketts is given as of Twyford.

  2. Of Woodside, North Stoneham, in 1843 when he married Mary Anne Maria, eldest daughter of the Rev. Frederick Beadon, Canon Residentiary of Wells, and Rector of North Stoneham. Living in the household of his father-in-law in North Stoneham Rectory in 1851; a visitor at Sulham House, Sulham, Berkshire, in 1861.

  3. Administration of will of George Robert Goodin Roberts formerly of North Stoneham but late of 6 Cumberland Place, both in County of Southampton, who died 18/01/1884, granted  06/03/1884 to nephew George Henry Mildmay Ricketts of Birch Hall Windlesham Bagshot, the residual legatee substituted, personal estate £22,520 7s 6d.
