Son of Alexander George Milne senior (1770-1849, q.v., whose death was registered Q1 1849 and who was buried aged 79 on 23/02/1849 at St John the Baptist Woolwich). Alexander George Milne senior had remarried 25/05/1822 as a widower with Dorothea Span as widow: the witnesses included Alex Geo Milne jr, Isabella Christian Milne and Margaret Ann Milne; Alexander George Milne junior was a trustee of his father's marriage settlement.

  1. Baptised 10/12/1799 St Olave Hart Street the son of Alexander George and Margaret Milne, together with 'Peter a Black servant to the above A.G. Milne'. Married Henrietta Helen Edmeades 03/03/1835 at St John the Baptist Greenwich, when he was described as a bachelor. Death of Alexander George Milne aged 76 registered at Lewisham Q4 1876. He was buried 'of Eltham' at St John the Baptist Woolwich 14/10/1876. He left £50,000 personalty at death.

  2. A.G. Milne junior's son, also Alexander [George] Milne of The Courtyard Eltham was listed as a member of the Kent Archaeological Society.  This A.G. Milne is shown as reading a 'very bright and interesting' paper on the history of Eltham Palace on a visit to the palace. He appears in the 1901 census aged 64 at 38 Court Yard Eltham, retired colonial merchant born Eltham with his wife Caroline Alice J. Milne aged 60: he was baptised at Eltham 16/07/1836 to Alexander George Milne and Henrietta Helen Milne.

NB a number of the claims under Alexander George Milne jun. might be attributable to his father Alexander George Milne senior (q.v.) by virtue of his marriage to Dorothea Span nee Munro (q.v.).
