Tom Rollins
Tom joined the Faculty of Law as a research student in September 2022. The working title for his PhD thesis is 'Common mistake and a revival of the equitable jurisdiction'.

 

  • Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with First Class Honours, University of Surrey (2017-2020)
  • Master of Laws (LLM) in International Commercial Law, University College London (2020-2021), awarded IBIL LLM Prize for Top Performance in Trade Mark Law      

Tom has been awarded the Peter Birks Memorial Scholarship for Private Law to fund his PhD studies at UCL.

Tom has previously taught at LLB undergraduate level as follows:

  • Associate Tutor at University of Surrey Law School, 2021-2023 (nominated by University of Surrey Faculty of Laws ‘School of Law Early-Career Teacher of the Year’ award for 2021-2022);
  • Visiting Tutor at Royal Holloway University Law School, 2021-2022
