At UCL Laws, there are a range of journalistic and writing opportunities you can get involved in.
Silk v Brief
The UCL Law Society's flagship publication, Silk v Brief, is published twice a year. Silk v Brief allows students to show off their writing and analytical skills on an issue or topic of their choice, and also acts as a platform for students to share their art or photos.
UCL Journal of Law and Jurisprudence
The UCL Journal of Law and Jurisprudence is edited and published by postgraduate students of UCL Laws, and features submissions in all areas of law and jurisprudence.
Blogging
Many student societies and groups across UCL have their own blogs which their members contribute to. There are also opportunities to blog at UCL Laws:
- The Access to Justice and Pro Bono Blog is the official blog of the UCL Centre for Access to Justice Student Pro Bono Committee, and welcomes student submissions on new perspectives and voices on access to justice issues, and reflections on their volunteering experience.
- The Lawyers Without Borders – UCL Student Division Blog provides students with a platform to discuss and analyse global human rights issues from the past, present and future.
