UCL Faculty of Laws

Continuing Professional Development

At the Faculty of Laws, we're committed to helping members of the legal community fulfil training requirements

Many of our free public events, such as the Current Legal Problems lecture series, are accredited with CPD hours by The Bar Standards Board (BSB) and, in some instances, by other accrediting bodies such as the IPReg (Patent / Trade Mark Attorneys).

Our events cover a broad range of subjects and you can find full details of accreditation details and how to book on our Events page.

We also recognise that many legal professionals need to update their knowledge or wish to develop their expertise in particular field. Our Continuing Legal Education programme offers professionals a number of flexible and distance-learning options to further their learning, including:

Single Master’s level courses

Notarial Practice course

A distance-learning course for the professional stages of training as a Notary

Specialist CPD courses

Develop your knowledge and learn from international experts in legal practice and public policy.
