Ozdel, Melis (2020) Commercial Maritime Law. London: Hart Publishing.

Publication summary

Edited and co-authored by Dr Melis Ozdel, the book unravels the complexities of bridging the gap between common law and civil law in the context of commercial maritime law. This book is a collection of papers presented as part of the international maritime law conference at University College London in 2016, discussing some particular areas in which the common law and civil law are divided, the impact of these differences on the interpretation of maritime contracts and the procedural aspects of the common law and civil law divide in commercial maritime law.
