Dr Danae Azaria reviews the CJEU’s (Court of Justice of the European Union) Wightman judgment on the UK government’s right to unilaterally revoke the notification of its intent to withdraw from the European Union. She provides a public international law and law of treaties analysis of the judgment and comments on its implications for general international law.
