Siân joined UCL as a doctoral student in 2023. Her comparative research is focused on legal accountability and oversight of public bodies, and examines the ways in which these systems have adapted over time in particular in response to the issues raised by digital governance. Her research is supported by the UCL Graduate Research Scholarship.
Siân was called to the Bar in 2017, and her specialist practice in administrative law at Landmark Chambers complements her research interests. She regularly appears in a range of public law cases across the Administrative Court, Court of Appeal, and Privy Council. She is also assistant editor of the academic journal Judicial Review.
