Research summary
Fabiana’s research interests lie in comparative property law and property theory. Her work has focused on property institutions across a number of common law and civil law jurisdictions. Fabiana is also interested in collective property and multi-owned housing from a doctrinal, theoretical, and empirical perspective.

Biography
Fabiana Bettini is a Lecturer in Property Law.
Prior to joining UCL in 2020, Fabiana was the Hulme Postdoctoral Fellow in Land Law at the Oxford Faculty of Law and Brasenose College (2018-2020). Before that, Fabiana held a junior research position at the Sciences Po Law School, Paris (2015-2018). Fabiana holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Private Law from the University of Macerata, Italy (2015) and a five-year law degree (cum laude) from the University of Perugia, Italy (2010). She is also a qualified lawyer in Italy.
