Biography:
Andrew McLean is a Teaching Fellow and PhD Candidate at UCL Faculty of Laws. Andrew’s research focuses on the role of competition policy in the era of shareholder capitalism and he teaches on the following LLM modules:
- Competition Law (EU & UK)
- Competition Law and Intellectual Property Rights
- The Role of Economics in Competition Law and Practice
Andrew holds an MA in Economics from the University of Edinburgh and an LLM in Law and Economics from Queen Mary University of London. Additionally, he has professional experience as an investment consultant with KPMG and as an adviser on competition law to the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office. Andrew is also a Research Fellow at the UCL Centre for Law, Economics and Society.
